Membership Types and Fees

ICAZ offers two types of General Membership:

Individual Membership

Individual Membership in ICAZ is open to anyone with an interest in archaeozoology for a fee of US$80 for 4 years. If paid yearly, the fee is US$30 per annum. Lifetime membership carries a one-time fee of $500. ICAZ also offers special (reduced) membership fees to students, retirees, unwaged professionals and individuals of certain countries. Institutional Membership

Institutional Membership is open to institutions and other organizations. ICAZ membership offers institutions the opportunity to participate in a global consortium of multidisciplinary partners and affiliated organizations. Institutional Members receive the benefits listed below, but do not have voting rights. ICAZ also offers reduced membership fees to institutions in certain countries. Join ICAZ Now!

Membership Benefits

Benefits of Membership include:

• Opportunity to contribute to the ICAZ Newsletter, published twice a year;
• Opportunity to add your publications to the searchable list of Zooarchaeology-Related Publications;
• Access to important ICAZ communications (via the official ICAZ member email list)
• Access to the ICAZ Member Directory (an opt-in database of contact information and research interests for individual ICAZ members)
• Reduced registration fees and opportunity to present at ICAZ International Conferences;
• Right to participate in ICAZ General Meetings (business meetings)
• Right to vote for International Committee members, Vice-President, and President (Individual members only)
• Right to nominate candidates for membership in the International Committee and for Vice-President and President following stipulations in the ICAZ Statutes (Individual members only)
• Right to take part in ICAZ prize competitions and apply for financial support for conferences

• Reduced prices for ICAZ 2002 International Conference volumes published through Oxbow Press
