Current ICAZ Working Groups

There are currently nine officially recognized ICAZ Working Groups:

• Animal Paleopathology Working Group (APWG) (formally the Veterinary Paleopathology Working Group)
• Archaeomalacology (AMWG) Working Group
• Archaeozoology and Genetics (A&G) Working Group
• Archaeozoology of Southwest Asia (ASWA) Working Group
• Bird Working Group (BWG)
• Grupo de Zooarqueología de Camélidos (GZC) Working Group
• Fish Remains Working Group (FRWG)
• North Atlantic Bioarchaeological Organization Zooarchaeology Working Group (NABO ZWG)
• Worked Bone Research Group (WBRG)

In addition, there are also several Former Working Groups, some of which could be brought back to life if there was an interest to do so from the general membership.
