| ICAZ Membership and Its Benefits
ICAZ offers two types of General Membership: Individual and Institutional.
Membership forms along with details on membership fees (including
reduced fee options) and payment procedures may be obtained by following
the Membership links to your left.
Individual Membership—
Individual Membership in ICAZ is open to anyone with an interest
in archaeozoology for a fee of US$20 per annum, payable in blocks
of one to four years depending on the length of time remaining before
the next International Conference. ICAZ also offers reduced membership
fees to students, retirees, unwaged professionals and individuals
of certain countries.
Benefits of Individual Membership include:
- The ICAZ Newsletter,
published twice a year;
- Invitation and reduced registration fees to ICAZ International Conferences;
- Right to attend ICAZ General Meetings (business meetings)
- Right to vote for International Council members, Vice-President,
and President
- Right to nominate candidates for membership in the International
Committee and for Vice-President and President following stipulations
in the ICAZ Constitution
- Reduced annual subscription fees to the journal Archaeofauna
- Reduced prices for ICAZ 2002 International Conference volumes
published through Oxbow Press;
- Full access to BoneCommons
where abstracts, papers, and comments on papers will be posted
for the ICAZ 2006 International Conference and subsequent conferences.
Institutional Membership—
Institutional Membership is open to institutions and other organizations.
Benefits include subscription to the biannual ICAZ Newsletter and
invitation to ICAZ International Conferences. ICAZ also offers reduced
membership fees to institutions in certain countries.
