AUGUST 23-27, 2008
The 6th ICAZ Bird Working Group (BWG) meeting will be held at the
Groningen Institute of Archaeology, Groningen University, The Netherlands.
There will be three days of presentations plus a one-day bird watching
trip to the Lauwersmeer (http://www.lauwersmeer.com/).

Archaeozoology of Southwest Asia (ASWA) Working Group meeting will be held from November 15-20, 2008, at the Mercure Hotel, Al Ain, Abu Dhabi emirate, UAE. This 9th Meeting of ASWA will honour the contribution of Hans-Peter Uerpmann and Francois Poplin to the Archaeozoology of Southwestern Asia.
