Call for papers, Posters and aBstracts

(deadline: 20 November 2009)

The process for submitting and accepting paper/poster titles and abstracts is as follows:

- delegates who wish to submit an oral or poster presentation are requested to send a preliminary title and abstract before 20 November 2009; late submissions will be considered only for the General Session if slots are available; no paper/poster proposal will be considered after 30 May 2010;

- all of the proposals for presentations that arrive before 20 November will be collected by the Organizing Committee and allocated to one of the sessions, following to the degree possible the expressed wishes of the submitter(s);

- after the deadline (20 November), a list of preliminary titles and abstracts assigned to a particular session will be sent to that session’s organizer(s), together with information about total time available for that session;

- the session organizer(s) then must provide the Conference Organizers by 24 December 2009 with a preliminary programme for their session that is in accordance with the time allocated to their session; in so doing they must determine which proposals should be accepted as oral presentations and which as posters;

- a preliminary programme for each session will be included in the 3rd circular, which will be uploaded onto the ICAZ website in January 2010. Delegates then must confirm their final title and abstract together with their final registration and payment before 30 April 2010. Author(s) thus will have the opportunity to update their abstract until that date, although without making any significant changes to the topic of the presentation;

- the final programmes of the sessions, and the titles and abstracts of the presentations will be posted on BoneCommons before 1 July 2010, and included in the printed programme and book of abstracts of the conference.

NOTE: the Conference Organizing Committee reserves the right to reject paper/poster proposals that are deemed not relevant to the conference and also reserves the right to re-assign a submitted presentation to a session (including to the general session) that it deems most suitable to the topic of that presentation.

You may submit a presentation proposal on line.
