The 9th meeting of the ICAZ - ASWA Working Group will be held in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates from the Sunday 16th to Thursday 20th of November 2008.

The ASWA forum provides an opportunity for participants to present their current results on practical and theoretical aspects of archaeozoological investigations regarding Southwest Asia and adjacent areas (Northeast Africa, Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and South Asia). Contributions include both papers and posters. We particularly encourage presentations from people starting out in research.

Please inform us of your intention to participate before 1 June 2008. Considering the location of the meeting and the short time remaining, it is very important to have your intentions on the indicated date. This will help us to better organise this meeting.
